Tonight we continue the Sierra Nevada Beer Camp pack. There are six different collaboration brews in the pack, and we will be covering one each episode.
Second up is Stout of the Union, a Robust Stout. This is a collaboration between, Sierra Nevada, Bagby Beer Company, Beachwood Brewing, The Lost Abbey, Smog City, and Societe Brewing Company.
To The Pint
Jeremy - Flavor reminiscent of an imperial stout, something along the lines of Old Rasputin. But without the booze. A very robust stout. Nailed the style. - 9/10Keith - Drinks like you want to sit in front of a roaring fire in a chalet. Hearty, easy to drink. Well balanced. - 9/10Gary - Lots of flavor, especially for a non-imperial stout. A really good stout. - 9/10Rob - A brick wall. Not for me, but certainly for someone. Not a big fan of stouts. Lots of great layers of flavor. Can detect a chocolatey feel. Lots of substance. - 8/10
