S02 E12 Show Notes

Tonight we are doing a BYOB episode. Each of us will review a different beer.

Jeremy - Epic Brewing Big Bad Baptist Imperial Stout, 11.3% ABV. This is release #48 of this beer. This version is brewed with cocoa nibs and coffee, and aged in whiskey barrels. Smooth, boozy but not over the top, good chocolate and coffee flavor. Strong malty backbone and smooth feel in the mouth. 10/10Gary - Stone 2013 Imperial Russian Stout. 10.6% ABV Toasty, malty, chocolate, coffee. Great mouthfeel. 10/10Keith - Saranac Prism White Ale - a wheat beer with the coriander and orange you might expect in this style, but with extra hops added. Something like a hoppy IPA. 8/10Keith - Saranac Legacy IPA. 9/10Rob - Pyramid Apricot Ale. This is 3.5 years old. Tastes something like a hard cider, but without the sweetness. 7/10
