The boys talk about income inequality, the myth of the new American Dream, and the insanity of the declining middle class. Joe brings up the work of Robert Reich and the UC Berkeley view on salaray economics in America. Marcus and Joe really enjoyed the documentary Inequality for All and were surprised by the viewpoints of some of the workers in the film. Chris recommended the book Bowling Alone: The Collapse and Revival of American Community by Robert D Putnam. In the News From North Korea: Kim Jong Un takes a page out of the British playbook and decides to set all the clocks according to his whims.
